About YellowDot Design Studio

Interior design in Bangalore is usually sold one of two ways: a big-brand package with fixed templates and a sales team, or a small local vendor with no real process and no one to call when something goes wrong. YellowDot Design Studio exists for the space in between: a studio that plans your layout properly, tells you the truth about cost and timeline, and stays accountable from the first sketch to the final handover.

We are a young studio, and we would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise. What we bring instead of decades of history is a layout-first process, straight communication, and two founders who are building this the way they would want to be treated as clients themselves.

The Founders

Yeshwanth U Naidu, Co-founder

Yeshwanth comes from a digital marketing background and is now moving into building and running YellowDot full-time. That background shows up less in the branding and more in how the studio is run day to day: a habit of looking at every project from the client’s side first (clear pricing, plain-language updates, and no jargon standing between you and your own home).

N Shaffi Ahmed, Co-founder

Shaffi currently works at HCL Technologies and co-founded YellowDot alongside that career. He brings a technology professional’s instinct for process and reliability to a field that badly needs it: clear scopes, realistic timelines, and systems that hold up once a project actually starts.

Advisors

Umees Ahmed and Fuzail Khan advise YellowDot on strategy and growth as the studio builds out its design team and project pipeline.

Part of a Wider Build

Beyond YellowDot, the founding team is also behind Bricks Time Constructions, a Bangalore construction firm handling architecture, planning, and structural execution for residential and mixed-use buildings in HBR Layout and across the city: real experience in the civil and construction side that directly informs how YellowDot works with architects and contractors on projects that start from a plot rather than an existing apartment. The team also runs On Time Travel Organizer and Logistics, a travel planning company with over a decade in the business, a different industry entirely, but the same underlying standard: plan properly, deliver on time, and stay reachable when it matters.
